Blister Steel Viking Knife

This blade is forged using a combination of W1 tool steel for the cutting edge, and custom blister steel for the spine. Blister steel is an iron age method of producing steel from iron ore. I personally made this steel using a combination of scrap mild steel and ore found locally. The handle is constructed using african blackwood and a silver burl for the spacer.
